Age 52, of West Mifflin. Bob was born to Joseph and Margaret Stanicar of Munhall on April 24, 1958 and entered into rest on April 27, 2010 after a brief but intensive struggle as a result of cardiac failure. Bob attended grade school at St. Therese's in Munhall and graduated from Steel Valley High School. He served in the Navy as a nuclear reactor operator for seven years aboard several ships including the guided missile cruiser USS Texas. After leaving the Navy, Bob worked as a draftsman and technical writer until his passing. Bob was a very private person who kept busy with his home, his pets, his church and various outdoor activities. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Stanicar, his mother, Margaret (Dusetzina) Stanicar, his step-mother Margaret (Gaydovchik) Stanicar and his brother Joseph Stanicar.
